Natalie

Hi! My name is Natalie and this is my second year as a Student Leader with Move U Crew, and third year working with UBCO Recreation. I am in my fourth academic year, but since I have changed my degree a few times I am completing my second year in BSc. Psychology. I am passionate about making physical activity fun and doable for everyone regardless of where you are in your fitness journey, as well as educating others on the health benefits of reducing sedentary behaviour. I love going for walks, hikes, and bike rides to explore the beautiful Okanagan Valley – especially if it involves Geocaching!

Nina - Move U Crew

NINA

Hey! My name is Nina. This is my first year as a Move U Crew Leader and second year working for UBCO Recreation. I am entering my third year as a Health and Exercise Sciences student, specifically in the Kinesiology and Allied Health concentration. I love helping people discover ways of physical activity that they enjoy doing and am passionate about educating others on the benefits of physical activity. Playing soccer would have to be my favourite way of staying active, but I also love playing basketball, going to the gym, and catching the beautiful views of the world we live in through hiking.

Julia

Hi! I’m Julia and this will be my first year with the Move U Crew but my second year working for UBCO Recreation. I am in my fourth and final year of Nursing this year and love how I can incorporate my knowledge from school to help reduce sedentary behavior on campus! I am passionate about making exercise fun and accessible to everybody on campus, no matter your starting point. Some of my favourite activities are running, skiing, any sort of game and biking. There are so many beautiful roads to bike throughout the Okanagan! I also love to paint and read a good book on rainy days.

Celine

Hi there! My name is Celine and I am a fourth year human kinetics student. This will be my third year working with UBCO recreation but this is my first year with the Move U Crew! I am very excited to help promote physical activity on our campus and to make sure it is accessible and enjoyable for everyone! Ever since I was young I’ve loved being active outdoors whether that be hiking, swimming in the lake, or going for walks! As, well in the past few years I have found a new passion for yoga! I’m looking forward to meeting you all!
